Relief
Operating
within CSA B51 and ASME National Board Inspection Codes, as well
as the Manitoba and Alberta Steam & Pressure Plant Act and
Regulations, we now offer approved repair service on all makes
and models of relief valves.
Services include pre-testing, back pressure testing, disassembly,
inspection, cleaning, lapping, machining, setting and sealing.
Full inspection reports are provided for each valve including
pre-conditioning test results (with all critical dimensions found)
and a detailed list of all repairs performed. All valves are re-tagged
and recommendations made on future service.
Valves may be repaired in our facility, or on-site with our mobile
repair unit.
In-house
Our
in-house facility provides a clean and controlled repair environment.
Equipment includes 3 test benches capable of providing hydro and
pneumatic testing to 5,000 P.S.I., as well as a stand alone steam
generator for steam relief valves.
Mobile
Our
mobile repair trailer provides customers with the fast turn-around
times required in a shut down type environment.
Our on site equipment include a 15 C.F.
J Tube style test bench capable of hydro and pneumatic testing
to 5,000 P.S.I, as well as a Crosby style test bench capable of
testing to 5,000 P.S.I at lesser volumes. Supplemental equipment
includes a sandblaster, lap-master, lathe, wash bay, and paint
booth.
Control
Valves
Derksen
Mechanical provides repair for most major control valves, and
has been factory trained by the leading manufacturers in our industry.
Service begins with seat leakage, calibration and functional testing,
followed by refurbishment and final testing. All results are recorded
and reported on the final inspection and servicing report.
Manual
Valves
Manual
valve repair is offered for all types of valves; ball, gate, globe,
butterfly, knife, and needle to name a few. Valve repair includes
but is not limited to, lapping of seats, re-packing of stems,
and replacement of worn parts.
Steam
Traps
Derksen
Mechanical is pleased to offer industrial energy audits in those
facilities using steam, as well as an on-going steam trap inspection
and repair/replacement program. We have the capability of testing
and repairing your traps in-house or on site as required.
Technicians
Our valve repair team comes from a diverse background, providing
over 25 years of repair experience. As with all Derksen Mechanical
personnel, they are client driven and committed to being the best
